A blue dragon I drew - based on the WotC dragons for DnD. It turned out really well, although the feet aren't quite how I like 'em... meh. Anyway, I think it turned out really good.I also want to mention that I used a lot of inspiration from hyenas in the dragon's body - hyenas actually conserve energy by having front legs longer than their hind legs, and I think it gives the dragon a very imposing, powerful posture.
EDIT: This is my most popular deviation, and it's kind of funny to me... still, thanks for all the faves, everyone. Maybe, just maybe, if you're going to fave this, look at some more of my gallery? This one gets all the publicity. Spread the love, people!

I was having trouble drawing dragon back feet but seeing the tail curling over the majority of your dragon's foot inspierd me to do the same. Thanks. ^^

No problem! I hate drawing feet, and although I think I did fairly well on the ones shown in this picture, I remember getting fed up and just curling the tail over the hind feet. I'm glad you think it turned out well.

This is, I believe, my best work of art. Unfortunately, my compy's on the fritz and won't seem to upload this beautiful (yet macabre) picture that I drew... meh. It's probably just that my computer has a problem with blood... it sure seems to like the dragons.
Anywho, I can't thank you all enough for the comments that I've gotten on this. I'm working on improving my technique - I can never get good enough - and hope to get a computer-graphics program *SOON*, so that I can try out some of the cool stuff all you techno-artists use.
