My Secret Valentine Rysicup ♥

I finished this a couple days ago but wanted to wait till Valentine's Day to post it ♥
Though I hate V-Day lol I wanted to do the event since it was like first big event :b
With this piece I am very happy <3
It gave me great background practice : D
I referenced the Background from an opening scene of the anime Sengoku Basara. Finished 2nd season a couple days ago. Was good (:

This is so amazingly beautiful!! You did such a wonderful job ;A; I seriously can't get over that Sakura tree, and you made Chieri and Kei look soooo cute and pretty and jfosjgiodsgs. Let me frame this. It really shows how much effort you put in. This came out fantastic.

Omg was so hard xD like 5 + hours on that background aloneee
I used a screenshot I took to use as a reference. Then just did a bunch of my own details. I played alot with these brushes vesner.deviantart.com/art/lazy… for like the clouds and the flower pedals and grass details.
the rest was just with a normal brush with the opacity decreased. You know with tree brushes, most of the time it's just a tree stamp. So I picked a nice tree to use and then went over it with a normal brush for lighting and shadow affects.
After the bg, I just went ahead and drew Chieri and Kei xD
That is like the only simplest way I can explain how I did the bg xD
Maybe when I get more comfortable I can try a step by step thing xI
