To celebrate Year 2 of Vanguard City Vanguard City year 2It's crazy that we're coming up on year 2 of Vanguard City. Literally mind blowing for me.
Which got me thinking about how intertwined Deviantart has become in my life with this project.
I'm told I should talk about things more instead of bottling them up.I have tried opening up about my anxiety and depression on a few occasions to positive results. A while back I went through a nasty, but amicable, divorce. Even when you leave on the best of circumstances something like that leaves you feeling gutted and vulnerable. Sort of the epitome of failure when you and a life partner split. My ex is the best kind of person, he did nothing wrong and has even financially supported me when I needed help. Pleased to say we are just better friends than lovers. But still...that event dropped me into a pit of that old friend Crippling Depression and Anxiety.
But...god works in weird ways...yes I said it... He's a loving weirdo...
And that same event lead me to what has become Vanguard City. The entire, here's an update to Shade.
