Description My submission piece for the Tribute to Sky Doll open-submission gallery, which is set to open in mid-September in Montreal.

I have all three volumes of Barbucci and Canepa's Sky Doll on my shelf at home. I can't read French worth a crap, but the comic transcends mere words. Check it out for yourselves sometime!

Also, Noa and Roy had better get a happy ending. Those two are so damn cute!

Pencils and watercolors on cold-press watercolor paper.

I got into this through heavy metal. I absolutely love the softness the colours you used gave to this piece.

Sky doll I love it and I love how you are able to catch so much of the series in a single picture.
Marvel released the work in english but unfortunately they resize it to fit the north american style... so much detail gets lost in the shrinking -.- I prefer the spanish edition (looks exactly like the original except I can understand it better ) but it's soooo expensive, import costs and all
Agape creeps me out, but so mosts religious floggers but I am completely sure she has almost the same number of skeletons in her closet than Ludovica.

Did you know that the three issues got released as one big hardcover book in 2009 in English? If you go to Barnes & Nobles website you should find it there cuz that's where I got mine.

And this is such a lovely and touching piece, You did an awesome job. And they are a cute couple when there's no sign of anyone else around...like his friend. XD

Nope, just graphite pencil for the linework and watercolors for the rest.

Very nice...I've heard of Barbucci and Canepa's work (Barbara was born in Genoa, like me!) but I never had a chance to read their comics...hopefully they'll translate them in other languages (french is not my forte either...).

Marvel's actually published an English-language version of the series in one giant compilation (all 3 volumes in one), but I haven't really looked at it.
