Oh I remember that part in the episode. That was wrong to show this to kids and young audience lol! I was like 0_0
And they mentioned a name Freddy Krueger and shown Predator (RATED R) in Tiny Toons lol! Hahaahahaha! Adult references on shows!

Yeah, back in the very past days. There was less censorship. I really like these adult references, it can let adults enjoy stuff like cartoons and rated G stuff as well. "You're never too old for anything." Yes...
In cartoons I see guns, people smoking, poison, alcohol, World War 1 and 2, the devil, hanging ropes: slipknot, etc⦠So dark. I like these adult references.
I will reference stuff you donβt know, but I know them and you may understand it what Iβm saying.
Bionicle 1, 2, 3 these old movies were so dark. Bionicle 4 didnβt felt so dark, it felt kid friendly to me. I notice that.
The Looney Tunes Show feels so appropriate, not much dark.Β I never watched this show, but Iβll give it a chance just to see Tina Duck hehe. 2 Italian actresses played her.
Now todayβs cartoons feel so appropriate, reminds me when WWE was 14+ and it now turn PG.
Not much adult references is being shown and dark stuff.
And on my country in Canada one of the TV shows played anime like Dragon Ball Z, Gundam WingΒ from Toonami. Eureka Seven, Naruto, FullMetal Alchemist, Inuyasha Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny.
Now I donβt see any anime on TV anymore. You only watch it online or buy the DVD, if you want to watch anime that is impossible to find on DVD, you gotta watch it on the website where the computer viruses are located in the ads that hit your computer. Stupid computer viruses. I hate them.
Todayβs world feels so censorship and appropriate.

You're right before there was not so much censorship and people were not offended as easily as today, seeing some scenes of Tiny Toons and Animaniacs I think that this could not be happening in today's cartoons.
