While I used to like a cute Ninten,
I've gotten this strange peeve. Every single time a cute Ninten, it feels so OOC to me.
Cute Ninten, while not bad (don't mean to offend any fans), gets rid of Ninten's whole "Mother 1 protagonist/hero" personality.
I know he's 12, but... Meh.

I think both versions are fine, though i do like more a serious Ninten

It's the general opinion I've seen that Ninten is more serious than Ness. I think this most likely comes from the motivation and final results of their journeys. Ninten is trying to right a wrong committed by his family, whereas Ness is saving the world because he's told that he's special.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily describe this Ninten as "dark."
I never did, but it must've been the expression I drew him with.
Just bothered me how cute, and overly ukey people make Ninten sometimes.
I think of him more of an action kid, personally. ; o ; (yeah, he kinda looks angry the way I drew him!)
(Also, I've seen loads of messed up pictures of Lucas. Loads of them.)
