Gordon's Alive?!Larger than life British actor, the legendary Brian Blessed recently made an appearance on Russell Howard's Good News, and proceeded to tell an amazingly tall tale about surviving a Polar Bear attack by punching it in the face
I felt I had to portray this moment, so here we are XDHe is still best known as Prince Vultan in Flash Gordon, and most famous for his booming voice, playing Boss Nass in the otherwise fairly bad The Phantom Menace. He is also and explorer(!) and the oldest man to set foot on the magnetic North Pole

Brilliant overpowered actor with an brill voice - if they ever do a decent film of any of the Professor Challenger books it has to be him doing it.
He was first class in the Scarifyers radio play "Curse of the Black Comet" which he played Adventurer Sir Basil Champion, basically taking the piss out of Challenger and Indy JonesΒ Β
