How did you do this so well? I went over it with a base coat of grey spray paint and then dry brushed it with basically a shinier paint. It came out a little bit gunky, so I'm considering sanding down the cover paint and starting fresh. Did you spray paint the whole thing?
Cheers!

I started off with a dark grey primer spray paint?
Would I have to sand off my original paint?
With the brush, how'd you manage to keep it so dry? I might have just kept too much paint on at one time.
It does help! I'm a novice level 1 rookie painter, aha. I found the same Grimlock a few weeks back and the color scheme left me unsettled, aha. Besides that, I think the color of him in AOE is really cool. So I thought I'd give it a shot!

I think I'll sand off or at least rub down what I have now, aha. Start fresh.
I unfortunately added more than one layer, but it doesn't sound bad start anew
I'll have to give this a shot!
I definitely will! I'll probably post a pic of my beforehand as well, so everyone can hopefully see the big difference. I noticed the Grimlock and got excited, I'll have to take a look at the rest!
Oh, I meant to ask, is there a difference between enamels and acrylics when it comes to covering a toy?
Thanks!
