What is the definition of home? A thought very bittersweet for him. To many home is a safe place. A place to go when you seek for warmth, peace or even love, if you're lucky enough. But is all that enough to make one feel at home? For Varlam had had it all, the perfect stage for a play called home. It was always missing something, though. Everything always felt temporary. He had managed to shake the feeling away for periods of time, but not for good.

In his most wistful moments he had always gazed at the night sky for navigation. He had been taught at a very young age to search for the right path from the stars. No matter where his house was, it was one pattern he always looked for. One star which pointed his way. And one day he faced the truth his heart had tried to tell him. He was far from home.

A scene from few years back of the current events of our story, when Varlam returned North after being away for over 20 years. The song Polaris from Chisu has reminded me of Varlam's yearning of home for years and finally I managed to draw something related to it.
