Story (look what I did xD oh my poor brain, I guess I used all the english words I learned in my life... it's not huch huh..):
Once again Aren went to explore foreign lands. He surely loves trail riding and Leap needed some kind of distraction too. This time he went to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, located along the North Carolina-Tennessee border. He arrived late in the evening, taking all the needed info and proceed to the first vet check. Everything seems in order, Leap courageously observed the main camp. The weather shouldn't be nicer. They spend the day observing terrain, talking with staff or other participants. Next morning the ride begins. First part of the trail was unexpectedly calm, born for joyful galloping. Sometimes Aren saw wild animals hiding between leafs, and hoped he doesn't meet any of them in the road. He didn't know how Leap would react, and since this was his first two day trail, he wanted to run it smooth as possible. They stopped only occasionally, to let Leap drink or to take picture of some waterfall. On the way back they crossed sunken bridge and then the time comes. The thing was, that Leap sometimes act a little bit claustrophobic. He doesn't like trailers or small stables, he rather would stay outside even in heavy rain than hide under some shelter. Aren dismounted him slowly trying to lead him under rocky arc. He didn't move at first, obviously fighting his fear. Aren pas the shadow several times, showing him that there's nothing to be afraid of. After few attempts Leap slowly followed him, observing the small piece of shadow lays on the ground and stones closing to him. But after some seconds the horror was gone and the forest continues like nothing ever happened. "I'm proud of you buddy," said Aren smiling and rubbed the Leaps neck. Stallion seemed more happy than never before. They arrived back in main camp shortly before sunset, coming right to vet check. Everything was in order.
The next day the toughest part awaits them. The rocky terrain was a bit hard for Leap to conquer and they started falling behind. They take more stops than day before, but came at the mountain top around two hours after noon. Aren let Leap rest and they both eat something. The way back down was even worse and so Aren decided to put leg protectors on Leap, just in case. They past thru the muddy road following the marks. After some time Aren saw a two large logs blocking the path. Firstly he observed the terrain, there was plenty of room between the woods. "Mind for some jumping?" he asked stallion as he shortened straps of stirrups. The tack wasn't mean for jumping, but he was sure that two jumps can't be so hard. He spurred Leap to gallop, leading him straight to the woods so he can saw in clearly. There was not a single hesitate, they flew thru the logs like wind. The stable from which Aren came was focused on eventing and endurance, and almost all horses there were chosen because of their nature suitable for these disciplines. Leap was one of newest accretes, but Aren expected a good results in his career. The trail was leading back to the base camp. Aren meets with other at almost same time than other day, atmosphere was great, but little tense as everyone awaited results.
Aren stays awake long after the moon came up, slightly illuminating the world around.
Let's wait until it's decided.
