Commander of an old BLU team, died trying to stop the RED Team from causing a massacre on Badlands. The only survivor from that day is Tommy.
Currently he's a ghost. His only friend is Richard Henderson, aka "THE BAD" guy. During WW2 he saved Richard's life by pushing him away from under a German sniper's fire.
He got shot in the head. Richard left him because he was pretty sure he died, yet he somehow survived, now having a nasty scar hidden under his battered helmet.

(before you'll mention the helmet crack being from the wrong side - It's not from that headshot.)
