"What do you mean she's bleeding?!!!" Mendo jelled at the phone she held between her shoulder and chin as she drow from the grocery store.
"She must have shewed on something because it doesn't look like she's been hit..." Leroy explained in the other end of the phone.
"We are going on the flight to Hungary in one week! She must be okey. Have you called the vet yet?" Mendo already knew the answer to that but she just really wanted to be on the safe side.
"Of courser I have! He will be here in, like 10-15 min." Leroy ended with a sigh.

One hour later
"Well... That's that!" Mendo turned to Bombay who looked sleepy after the tranquilizer she got when they removed a loos tooth she had chipped of. Mendo smiled at the dozing mare and rubbed her forehead.
"You are such a goof, you know that?"
Rodd came up to Mendo and Leroy and looked puzzled. "What have happened here?" Mendo gave him a troubled smile.
"Its going to be hackamore for you and Bombay at RPS's show jumping you know..."
"What?! Why?"
"This lovely lady decided to chip of a tooth." Mendo stated as she laid a warm palm on the mares neck.
"Goof ball indeed...." Rodd whispered.
