He saw the light from the small village further down the valley. He squinted his tired eyes and then scanned the area he was in.
The fastest way down was to slid down the steep slopes. Would he dare risk it in the dark night? What if they got stuck? Got hurt?
He sighed hard and after a few minutes of considering the risks he nudged Bristol forwards. The stallion bobbed his head upwards
in a small surprise that it was already time to move but gladly did so since the temperature had dropped below zero a few hours ago
and he wanted to feel the warmth of a stable right now.
The steep slope came into view and Bristol hesitated. Could he make it with his human on top of him? He hummed concerned and
for a few seconds it looked like he was pondering as he tapped his hooves back and forth at the edge, ears playing restlessly.
Well... he was after all a Obertaurer! Snow was his homeland and mountains was his heart. Of course he could do it!!
Rodd had let his beloved mount take his time deciding if he could make it or not and just sat perfectly still on him, a hand steady in the
thick short mane if Bristol would decide to take the shortcut down.
They had taken the trip to slow and was now way behind the rest of the group that probably was already eating their full at the hut
by now. Rodd made a annoyed smile and took a deep breath as he felt how Bristol leaned forwards over the edge. "Good boy" Rodd
murmured as the horse parry all the dents and thick heavy snow on the way down.

Haha look at them go
Soon Rodd will be warm and toasty again at the hut at Obertauren!
And Bristol of course in a warm nice stall xD
