With a hot and dry spring the Black Veined Whites are early this year! This one was still getting warm in the early morning on the top of a hill near the Viroin Valley, in the province of Namur, Wallonia, Belgium. It's always a wonderful sight to me to see these butterflies which disappeared in the Belgian region where I live in the late sixties.Aporia crataegi

Messcherp, en prachtig licht hé. Fantastisch mooi beeld. Wat ik zelf wel zou durven is alles iets meer centraal zetten, omdat je onderwerp toch mooi asymmetrisch verdeeld is over het beeld (sprietjes, vleugels, bloempje leiden allemaal mooi weg van het centrum). En als ik héél kritisch mag zijn: er zit wel een fijne korrel over de achtergrond, wellicht ten gevolge van het verscherpen. Het stoort absoluut niet, maar op dit scherm (op werk) is het wel zichtbaar.
