Description Filmed in 1922, "Nosferatu" was essentially an adaptation of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" with only the names changed to avoid legal problems. Nearly a decade before Bela Lugosi established the charismatic vampire archetype, Max Schreck's "Count Orlok" was a pale, hideous creature with huge, leering eyes, pirhana-like fangs, and huge claw-like hands. This classic silent movie creeps me out EVERY TIME!
