What would three pair of wings be for a trait? Mutant?

MentaLoon In reply to Scyphliie [2019-09-16 13:36:53 +0000 UTC]

Probably incomplete four wings mutation

Scyphliie In reply to MentaLoon [2019-09-16 13:42:44 +0000 UTC]

So like if a cyclot has three pairs of wings // 6 wings in total
It would be an incomplete mutation
Of 4 pair of wings? // 8 wings in total

Is there any other animals that live on Alma?
And, is there anything that eats cyclots?

I do wonder if cycots can have multiple irises/pupils (If only a rare trait)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MentaLoon In reply to FergzDialga [2017-12-05 23:22:29 +0000 UTC]

If all the pupils move synchronously and in no other way, as if they were one whole, then this is a rare trait "figured pupil".
If the snares move independently of each other, then this is mutant trait "rare eye".

Do they have certain way of comunicating? :0c
also wanted to ask about where is possible for a cyclot to survive in nature zones? do tehy prefer cold forests or something warmer? sorry about the ton of questions, I'm just kinda curious and just stumbled upon the deviantion oof

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MentaLoon In reply to Mercuriym [2017-11-26 11:03:47 +0000 UTC]

For comunicating, the cyclots use a small set of sounds that they can emit with weak vocal cords - mooing and something like a click. They also use gestures - tail swings, turns of ears and heads. But the most important component is tapping a special rhythm with the paws. Thus, they can talk without even using voice and gestures, as Morse code.
The cyclots have a simplified version of the phone - one speaker clings to the ear, and a special bracelet is put on leg. When a cyclot taps with leg, the bracelet passes the rhythm to another cyclot, sort of like through a telegraph with a morse code.

Cyclots can live in any natural zones, but everything depends on the cyclot itself. If the cyclot was born in the desert, then it will be easier for him to adapt to the desert. But in fact, there are no restrictions on the species itself.

So we know what happens when a cyclot gains a mutant trait- but is it the same for unique traits as well?

And, is it possible for a cyclot to gain an ability mid-way through it's life, or do they just have to be born with it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MentaLoon In reply to DAEM0NlCC [2017-08-31 01:38:17 +0000 UTC]

1.
Cyclots can only be born unique, or, some traits are considered unique if the cyclot received due to its ability (but some circumstances are needed (like the tail of the Satellit))

2.
The ability of a cyclot is always endowed with the birth, but there are some abilities (usually passive, for the activation of which the cyclot does not respond), which can manifest only in some special situation.

When MYO's are open how much do they usually cost

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MentaLoon In reply to SandwichFox [2017-08-27 23:56:33 +0000 UTC]

The cost depends on the traits, I can not say anything more yet. When open I do not know.

Do they have any towns/cities. If so, what do they look like?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MentaLoon In reply to Noonatic [2017-08-28 00:05:53 +0000 UTC]

Cyclots form colonies, but rarely create artificial structures, although sometimes it happens. They do not create full cities, but they can, for example, make a separate building.
Of the exceptions, the main base of the cyclots on Alma should be cited. This building, which used to belong to people, is something like a giant bunker. For the time that it belonged to the cyclots, they completely adjusted it to themselves, and now it is a huge cyclot's city under the earth.

Approximately how long on average can a cyclot go without sunlight? Like if they get lost in a cave, or some other situation that would prevent sunlight for extended periods of time. Probably a strange question, but it's something that I legit got curious about earlier this week.

MentaLoon In reply to Guilmon1337 [2017-08-27 06:28:24 +0000 UTC]

In addition to solar energy, cyclots can use the light of any glowing object and in extreme cases heat. If completely interrupted by the access of energy, cyclot will die within two days. But if even the smallest source of heat or light is there, the cyclot can fall into the anabiosis and live up to better times for about a month.

What causes a cyclot to have mutant traits

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MentaLoon In reply to Ghost-Nightmares [2017-08-26 05:40:16 +0000 UTC]

All planets and worlds have their own level of magical energy. If the cyclot comes from one world to another, in which the level will differ from the level of Alma XII (the native planet of cyclots) is too strong, the organism will adapt to it, but the cyclot body will change, acquiring mutant traits. The same effect can be achieved if the cyclot is artificially subjected to such energy changes (as people from Alma do)
