I was Thinking today about why sometimes we have a tedious inertia which depresses us even though things might be going well in life and why other times we have a strong will to confront life despite great problems and we do it with an unbreakable passion which moves us forth almost perpetually and makes us run faster the steeper the climb gets.

Its as if will wasnt something pertaining only to a wish of our conscious mind but that it is necesary to create something in our unconscious which inspires will to come through. When I said before that having a song inside us gives us strength I think this was an answer to this question. Sometimes we cant get up in the morning, tediousness and other gray feelings invade us, but then suddenly a song we havent heard for a long time sounds in the waking clock radio and our whole body is lit up by an emotion so strange which seems to activate a strange force inside us and gives life to a body and a soul invaded by inertia.

I could see in these moments that will was something that came through inspiration, as if beauty was the engine behind the force of the will. Thus, our creative mind capable of finding these fragments of beauty in life -through art and creativity- could orchestrate this internal symphony not only to confront life but to live it to the fullest somehow justifying all the pain and revealing the beauty of the combat in life.

And what else is wisdom but to be able to find this shade of inspiration to every moment in life and transmutating pain and inertia into passion and drive?

I believe the gift of creativity and art is so much more than aesthecism, it is an ability to see the greatest part of life.
