It's true that I'm more used to seeing "máu" for blood, and I only know "tiết" because of "tiết thỏ" and "tiết heo"!

Jaja "tiết" actually is a word of "blood" used for food (we eat blood). But sometimes we use that for other things besides food too, to make it sounds hilarious
