The final design for this years Christmas card is finally done...yay! ;D. All cards are off in the mail now...finally 
I’m calling this picture “Northwind” and a print of it will be on sale at my online store.
Backstory: She is the spirit of the northwind and she brings the snow and the cool air that we all associate with the wintery holiday. She also has a fleet of snowy owls (I know owls..Harry Potter...ehh...its a hard connection to break

This one took me by surprise! Do you do animals often? Aside from the cat, I haven't seen many. Anywhom this is nice! I adore the movement in the horse! It really feels like he's galloping across mountains and adds so much to the overall mood. Speaking of which, the Owls all seem to have such character! The top most one being the most jubilant, while the lower one looking at the audience has an expression of, "What? It's a living." I like it. And the other owl looks like his searching for shiny objects. And of course the figure. The attire is so intricate and lovingly detailed! Her blowing snow adds volumes to the atmosphere and mood. And her expression is a combination of wonder and innocence. I really this. Good job, well done.

Do I draw a lot of animals? Probably not as much as I should

I remember hearing of an artist whom began drawing horses as a girl, which I could understand with them being beautiful noble animals. Chickens however is... unique. XD

Wow, this is the perfect Christmas character for little girls to dream of, if only they knew of her! Wonderful work as always, I love the patterned fabrics on the unicorn and on her outfit!
