my myo birdfolk!! :3c
i tried to keep him simple so i don't have to stress over drawing him omg qwq

this is Azen!! he acts kinda cold towards others and is really independent. he secretly has a lot of pride, so he hates asking things of other people, especially if it is for help. he doesn't want to make it seem like he is not self-sufficient (but maybe, in the most dire situation, he'll actually accept help one day!! just maybe). he's as stubborn as a mule though, so if he doesn't want to do something, there's barely any hope of convincing him.

however under that exterior he has good in him. in the most trying situations his good aspects can shine through -- like that he will sacrifice himself before seeing someone innocent get hurt, even if he may show irritation after the fact. he's kind of a softie too, honestly. he gets flustered when he's complimented or someone does something nice for him, to which he'll probably get defensive about to uphold his intimidating disposition. he also gets nervous when someone is sad or depressed around him. out of worry, he might do something out of character, like give you something or sit next (but not too close) to you to help you feel better. he tries his best not to make himself seem concerned, so it's likely he'll say something like "i'm only doing this so you'll stop making me feel uncomfortable." even though he doesn't actually mean that, sometimes saying things like that backfire and make the other feel worse, and then Azen feels super guilty about it and might mutter an apology. hearing a "sorry" from him is probably as rare are winning the lottery.

he actually rarely talks, though he does make a lot of irritated sounds like "hmph" and "tch". he also sighs a lot. when he actually does speak words he normally is really concise and often blunt. most of the time he sounds irritated because most of the time he IS irritated, or pretending to be.

he's actually a more aged Birdfolk than you'd expect -- he is over 130 years old! he tries to act mature but its hard to take him seriously sometimes because he's such a tsundere like jfc

he has 3 different transformations! the first one he learned is his adult form, his second one is a stag, and his third one is a manticore
he doesn't transform too often anymore. he only uses transformations when he really needs to. he uses his adult form the least. when he needs to run long distances he uses his stag form, and when he needs to defend himself or others or needs to be intimidating he uses the manticore form. (i will draw the forms eventually ahhh)

he chews on twigs literally all the time. once he chews a twig as much as it can be chewed then he gets a new one. don't touch his twig
