Another one from my wet outing yesterday at Chesterton windmill. For this one I upped the iso slightly and waited for gaps in the wind before shooting, rendering the field far more static than my previous upload: For more images and prints visit my website:

Glad I found that link actually... I didn't know they opened it and operated the machinery still.. I'll have to keep an eye open for when, I'd love to have a shot of the blades turning!

I prefer the compo of this one, and the foreground is much better that it has more detail in it. Would prefer if the mill wasn't so centered though.

Cheers. Its positioning was dictated really just by wide angle distortion - moving it too far from the centre of frame introduces the sort of distortion I was trying to avoid and which is a real pain the arse to correct.. at the same time I wanted to include field and sky, so this is kind of all I had to work with.

Haha interesting, someone on RR said they like this one better, but would prefer it in the landscape format of the previous. I prefer the other myself personally, but there's still more to come
