Description
It was close to Xmas hence the setting. For this project we had to choose either warm colors and make some appear 'cooler' or cool colors and make some appear 'warmer'. I choose cool colors and made the green and purple tones appear warmer. I went for a more impressionistic method. Likely a subconscious Van Gogh inspiration.

Even though you chose cooler colors its warm theme shines through , giving the artwork this feeling of a yuletide fire and santa coming soon...so AWESOME work!

Thank you! It was a bit tricky but I don't think it took too long, maybe a couple of classes. Applying the paint in dabs goes surprisingly quickly and the page was relatively small ^^

This is beautiful! I love how you made the green light from the candles feel so warm, like yellow~ And the impressionism style really adds to it too~
