I'm going to do a real background for once, hope it comes out good, I usually stink at drawing trees lol >< ugh, it won't scan more than the girl, curse you printer, probably because the rest was too light to be picked up, I guess it will leave the scenery to be a surprise then!EDIt: Behold my background, i kept it a bit simple, the grass took a long time, it's a bunch of "v"s in different greens which then i went over in regular coloring. the tree's blossoms was colored in a circle motion in my attepmt to make it look flowery. lol im very happy with how this came out

This is such a lovely piece
First off, you did a wonderful job with the background, very nice^^
The coloring is very neat and clean, which is nice, especially the effect that the colored pencils give (i use colored pencils too, but i suck at coloring X3) The tree and the whole feel of the piece is very nice, it reminds me of all of those cute shojo manga with the school girl standing under the sakura trees X3
