I really love the detail there, especially the wrinkles and the metal handle. There are a few things that are not quite there in my opinion.
First is the value - everything seem in the middle range really, no whites or blacks, everything is rather middle gray. In general having contrast or at least higher range of value provide bigger impact and better appeal in general, even if you have less details, and with your level of precision adding just that it would look really amazing.
Another thing i think you cna practice more on is the fur/hair. It also look rather flat, the shadows, the hair, the highlights seem to be a little missing there. Some more detail or just spending 1-2 hours more polishing the hair would make it look quite epic
I give you 10/10 for the left part of the hair (right from his point of view) where you have darker background and lighter hair, but then the background it self is kind of too basic. I know you want to put focus on the face, but havig at least a little detai there would make it pretty cool looking in general.
I rated low for originality, since its painting from an image, which is cool and all, its just that that is now what originaliy means, please dont take it harsh.
For technique 4/5 becuase of the hair and fur, the rest is just amazing.
In general, awesome painting, keep it up!!

A few tips. Try drawing something using charcoal. Want it or not it will force you to go dark. After you do 2-3 paintings with charcoal, get one 6 or 8B pencil and make sure you get the darkest you can from it on your core shadows. Go from there building the mid and light tones. Take it as practice to make yourself be able of putting real darks. Just so you know you can do it and it wont hurt ^^ So yeah, in short - draw the darkest you can first, and build from it, just make sure you leave pure white or very light graphite on the paper.
