I have a friend like that too! She sat me on the sofa and showed me the film for the first time, this started as a gift for her. We should introduce them so they can fangirl together! XD

I just love everything about this! The angle, the simple but bold colors, and that chandelier looks like it took awhile. Great job!

Thank you! I learnt a lot of shortcuts working on the candelier, and it took me less than expected you can be sure.

The perspective is striking here and the color you did use makes a great contrast and border.Β The detail on the surroundings rather than the audience is refreshing here and allows the eye to wander on the architecture and eventually to Erik himself.Β Nice touch on the texture of the ceiling and of course the chandelier.
The audience is faceless and all the same - they are the ghosts and Erik is the one who is compelling.Β Very nicely done.

Thank you very much! I wanted to make the audience very dull and grey, from Erik's point of view as a bunch of well-dressed people with no stories to tell. I also think the in-story theatre magnificency mirrors his ego and taste, and I wanted to reflect it here. It would need a lot more work to make it perfect, but I needed to stop somewhere.
