okay this is how this idea started. it was a Gmail conversation me and Skulk had:Skulk: "Hey Mercury, did you hear about Tim Burton making a new Alice in Wonderland movie?"
- "oh yeah i remember that book. I always liked that Mad Hatter guy."
Skulk: "oh yeah. Hey do you know where that saying 'mad as a hatter' came from?"
- "no where?"
Skulk: "well originally top hats were made using mercury to hold in the felt and this was back before they knew it was poisonous. so Mad Hatter was suffering from mercury poisoning because too much mercury in your system makes you crazy."
- "really?! hmmmm....."
...and this is what I came up with, Mercury...swollen with mercury! but the catch is that it makes you crazy and also tend to make you bloated. and yes i know mercury is really dangerous but don't worry it can't hurt me. my body is strong enough to withstand mercury poisoning.
