Every year my brothers and i decide to give Santa a hand spreading the holiday cheer, so a couple years ago we tore the sleigh bells off our antique toboggan and began running around town jingling sleigh bells while my dad bellows "HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS!!" It does the heart good to help Santa out ^_^

When I was around 12, one of my aunt and uncles had bought my brother and me bikes. My parents had assembled them on Christmas Eve, and they hid them on the front porch.
When we all woke up, we got down to business opening gifts. Pretty soon my father was telling me to go check for mail. I told him, "No. Mail certainly does not run on Christmas, and it's cold outside." But he kept trying to get me to go out.
Dad: "Maybe it ran today."
Me: "No, it didn't. You're 42, how did you not know about this?"
Dad: "Go check for a paper."
Me: "That isn't running either. It's cold out! I want to stay in and play with my Jasmin and Aladdin barbies."
Dad: *sigh* "Dell, go see if there's mail..."
So my brother hops up like a good child and runs out the front door. Pretty soon he starts shouting about the bikes. What I heard was, "We got LIGHTS! Lights! We got lights!"
So I turned to my parents and told them, "Why in the world did y'all go out in the freezing cold, in the middle of the night, to finally put up our Christmas lights? We'll only get to enjoy them for a week if we go outside! What were y'all thinking?"
Turned out to be a pink 10-speed.

I don't have many Christmas that are all to good but I know that I'll remember one Christmas for the rest of my life. I was 15 years old and for the passed few weeks I had been helping my dad out collect and wrap presents for some kids from a church one of my aunt. I think it was the 3rd year doing that and that year my dad had let me sign up to get a kid to give a present to. It was a bit hard since for a while I didn't know if it was a boy or girl since it was a name that a boy and girl had but I soon found out it was a girl and I went off to get her something. I still remember what I got her, it was an art set with 2 coloring books. I didn't really know if she would like it or not because I never really got a present for someone I didn't even know but I sown found out on the day went went to take the presents to my aunt's house were the Christmas party for the church kids. After the fun mini game were done it was time to pass out the presents. Seriously I was nervous as heck thinking that she wouldn't like it and even more when they called the kid up. I wanted to just leave the room as she was opening it but I couldn't seem to move. I ended up stayed there and god you should have seen that girls smile. She had actually liked it a lot and the look she had of how she loved it made me feel all warm inside that I seriously couldn't stop smiling myself to the point that my cheeks hurt. I was like a dog wagging his tail after getting a big treat from his master. I had never been able to give a gift that someone had really liked, mainly because the people I was giving gifts for Christmas always wanted something more expensive but that girl was happy with that art set and coloring books I got her that were less than 15 bucks. I think since than I always liked signing up for a kid to give a Christmas present to sad part is 3 year after that they had to cancel it. I never knew why but I think it was probably because there were a lot less people signing up each time that they couldn't do it anymore. It sucked though since I really did like doing it and I would always look forward to Christmas to do that.

Well, I really haven't had many good Christmas experiences in the past few years. But I do remember when I went to Canada for Christmas and New Years. Yeah, we drove all the way, eight hours, up to my new uncle's house. I was slightly nervous to meet a new part of my family. We went there, it was really nice. They welcomed us in with open arms. It was nice to meet a new part of my family, to learn about them. We visit all the time now.

This one Christmas, I went to =Merdoptables 's page and saw the most adorable adoptable called an Achira. She was soooo pretty and I wanted her soooo badly. Claim, Togeth.
Unfortunately, my most memorable Christmas was actually one of my worst. When I was five years old, I ended up in the Emergency Room with a fever of 106.5 and hardly breathing. I had caught the flu, but it ended up getting so bad that it nearly cost me my life. Most of my family, both from in-state and out of town, traveled down to the hospital to visit me that Christmas. I spent nearly a week in a hospital bed, so weak that I refused to open my Christmas gifts.
My mother feared the worst for me after the second day of my temperature being over 106 degrees. Finally the doctors decided to submerge my body into a tub full of icy water. Finally, my fever was showing signs of falling. I don't really remember much of my time in the hospital; I do remember everyone being together with me there. And I think that's the most important part to me, and why I wasn't scared to be in the hospital. My family was there together with me, helping me get through the toughest time of my short life.
I owe it to my loving family that I'm still here today. And that's why I want to name this adoptable Togeth, because being 'together' during the holidays is the most important thing to me.

My favorite christmas was when I was about 14 years old i was sleeping in my room and when I opened my eyes a man in a santa suit was sitting on the edge of my bed so I screamed as loud as I could and ended up kicking him off my bed and running to the living room into my grandmas arms screaming "There's a man in my room!"
all my grandmother did was laugh and tell me it was my father. I was shocked it as the man i always wondered what he looked like who he was ... and now there he was in my room. I started crying I had never met him before. I am now 22 and I love him deeply and have forgiven him for not being in my life those past years.

For Christmas, a long time ago, my family and I were at our grandpa's house. I remember they have a large, beautiful tree. Everyone was there, and my sister and I played with our cousins. We gave gifts around too.

Ah, I have a good one for this.
About six or seven, I woke up on Christmas morning. And by morning, I mean, one or two A.M. Anyway, something just woke me up, and I'm a horribly heavy sleeper. I wandered into the kitchen where our Christmas tree was. It was all lit up, shiny, beautiful. The star was doing its kaleidoscope rotation. The presents surrounded the tree, climbing to at least the mid part of the tree. The whole scene just looked completely magical.
I went over to the kitchen table. The cookies had had their bites taken out of them, the milk had been sipped. And right next to the letter I had written Santa was a new one. A letter from Santa, wishing me a Merry Christmas. And, as I had asked, hoof prints from all of his reindeer, including Rudolph.
Definitely, it was the most memorable Christmas I had ever had to date, and led me to believe in Santa for a long while afterward.

I think we're starting a new tradition tomorrow. We'll be visiting friends in the neighborhood and just spending time with each other. We really don't get to see each other because we're all so busy. I don't even get to see three of my neighbors in school. It might just be a passing in the hall and that's about it. Hopefully this is the time where we can build stronger friendships.
