aww thanks this is at one of the beaches best to see a midsummer sunset at midnight ... so glad that you like it a  clear view doesn't happen each year ... most times is cloud and rain at that time ... but on an evening like this one it is possible to watch the sun go down ... then run up the sand dunes to see it go down again ... also if you are fit  to run up to the headland for height to see the sun go down for a third time in one evening! ... then it reappears two hours later at 2 am in the morning

yes I too hates midges I had to abandon a drawing last week out on the hill because of them...aaarghh! impossible to concentrate when they get to work on an unfortunate victim

yes me too like a path of sunlight leading to the horizon, its almost in the north here north north west where the sun sets
