Your work is always so very beautiful and delicate and enchanting.Your compositions work so well and the colours..just perfect, not too dark not too light.Which brings me to the question i wanted to ask - do you scan or photograph your paintings?I'd love to get such results with my scanning so i thought to ask for a hint, but only if you have the time.
Sorry to bother you, wonderful work again.

Thank you

Yes, it's scanned. I'm not sure I have any hints... I have an Epson scanner. Usually I have no problems. The was scanned at 600dpi because that's what my publisher asked for. Check all the settings on your scanner to see what they change. Sometimes light colors don't show and it's the scanner setting. But it could be just cheap scanners that do that.

Oh yay, another version of the Wiseria faerie. Btw, I always noticed that your artworks are watermarked...how do you do that? (The reason I'm asking is because in a few weeks, I'll be uploading original work & want to know how to watermark my images.)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MeredithDillman In reply to AyaneShinobi [2008-02-05 00:53:51 +0000 UTC]

If you have something like photoshop or paint shop pro or anything else to edit photos you should be able to.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AyaneShinobi In reply to MeredithDillman [2008-02-07 00:29:11 +0000 UTC]

Is watermarking just like typing text over the image then?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MeredithDillman In reply to AyaneShinobi [2008-02-07 01:07:33 +0000 UTC]

That would work but there's thing you can do like make it transparent or add shadows.

ivebeenfairybadd [2008-02-04 18:36:09 +0000 UTC]

She's very captivating...the gentle curves of the plant in the background give it that surreal and really hold your attention for awhile- the composition is great!
