Description
This sparrow chose to perch on a branch a mere 6 or 7 feet away from me in the crab apple tree directly off our balcony. Most birds typically won't stay long on a branch when someone is very near by. This one was an exception and stayed long enough for me to get my telephoto lens set up for the closer distance and to make some adjustments in settings. A very cooperative and UN-intimidated sparrow to be sure.
