I think the square format of the picture is very right and correct. I like the darkly tones and contrast. The DOF is well done and the light correctly measure. The texture of the ground well obtained. Maybe i would be center the shoot a little bit higher up to make posible to see the entire wheels of the bike.
Anyway, the shoot is amazing and really emotive. And the reflexion of the bike in the ground, as well as the watercolor, add to the pictiure a nice reference.
Inspirational.
