Description
I've been busy filling orders, but I found time to create a new design; Black Unicorn Mask.Made from one piece of hand carved, hand shaped leather and painted with Liquitex acrylics. I decided to add some gold drybrushed details to the face (to accent the carving just a bit) and gave it a deep blue metallic mane and a bright gold horn.
This is a signed, dated, numbered original; Black Unicorn #2.

Definitely can see the kinship with a kelpie, but you've also captured the perfect LOOK that portrays unicorns the way I think they really would be.. Delicate but something that could be a fearsome opponent too

Interesting design. 
This looks like a serious theatre-mask, actually - like something you'd wear in a Greek drama, or something. Definitely prefer it to your unicorn half-masks (which aren't bad by any stretch of imagination - it's just that they're a bit too... frilly for me. I'm not a frilly kind of girl.

Maybe it's just the eye shape, but he looks kind of evil. Evil unicorn! He's got a nice mane, though.

Yes, true...it is Kelpie-ish with the swirling blue mane. Hmm...that's not a bad idea really! A blue/black Kelpie with a seaweed mane...!

I definitely love the look of this one more then the froo-froo-y one with the feather mane ( not to say its not good ). Ive always adored the spirals in the leather and the rich deep colors you use. Great job!
