A very special, numbered mask. One of my favorite fantastical creatures; a "Kirin".The Kirin (or Qui-lin, or Ki-lin, or a variety of spellings) is an Eastern mythological creature somewhat akin to a western unicorn. It has horselike, deerlike, and goatlike features, as well as dragon characteristics. It appears in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese folklore, and is considered a fierce but virtuous creature. My version is most similar to the Japanese version, but with a single stag horn like the Chinese depiction.
Made of hand carved leather, polymer clay, and acrylic paint. And magic.
