Here's the second of my "FireFox" designs. See my last entry. This one was a more traditional-looking kitsune (Japanese fox spirit) in white this time.This design was commissioned by a fire-juggling act. They wanted "fire foxes" and, apparently, only leather masks are safe around fire. Latex melts, paper mache burns too easily. As ever, this is 8oz veg tanned leather, hand carved and painted with Liquitex acrylics.

The flames really make me think of Avatar the last airbender, the fire benders! I always loved the way you do flames and make them look so awesome! I really love how you did the ears with the flame in it. Makes it look so cute!
