For - She wanted me to do a Sammy sketch because we're doing a swop, although I think I'm getting the better end of the bargain LOL
I've been a pain in the ass and nagged her beyond tolerance ROFL - but she is working on a banner for my fanfic "Cliffhanger" - I've promised to give her up to a year to complete it ... I'm very patient even if I'm extremely hyper and overly excitable, waiting in awed anticipation LOL
Done with pencil and color pencil ... background is white, so I did a bit of photomanip and added some of Sammy's sleeve into the wallpaper

Cool, you've captured his eyes especially well! I like the look of the sparse shading too, usually I don't like it so much but here it really really works.

Love it. This is simply gorgeous. Your technique is superb & I especially love how you poignantly captured Sam's emotional state! This inspires me, maybe I'll try & work on my drawing of Sammy a bit more.

Sis, you won't believe this, but I actually started crying when I saw this. God, it's so beautiful! The intense colors of this jeans and the sleeves form such a wonderful contrast with the pencil. And I love the background. You did Jared perfectly. The shading is superb. You are simply beyond talented my sis. I love you so damn much.

Navajo NAV101, is about Navajo language and culture.
so, I'm thinking since I got a B on my AIS test, 47/45 on my History of Opera test (I have an A, with extra credit, woooo)
dunno about the others yet. I have fear, lol. But i think my folklore test will be okay. I had a 94 and an 88 last time, so I don't think this will be much worse, y'know?

as long as I get credit. But I REALLY don't want less than a B on anything, considering I want to go to grad school, and I want scholarships and other things, and I really really really want to go to Scotland to study Gaelic there, and I figure after Navajo, one of the hardest languages in the world, what else can challenge me?
I would like to go to Cal-State for a while to learn the languages offered there that aren't at NAU, like American sign and other Native Languages.
My dream job involves being able to work with the preservation of languages and just learning them in general. Y'know? I might even come to SA to learn Afrikaner or however it's spelled, lol.Or whatever I mean. I dunno anymore.
