[The title for this drawing was supposed to be written in Chinese however, DA doesn't allow those characters. So, I just wrote it in English. And honestly, I don't Chinese, I just used Google. Sorry. But the title is supposed to be a reference to Misato being half Chinese and half Japanese. And the reason its titled moon is because each one of my characters have strong references to the stars, moon and sun. And to be honest it was so natural to. I didn't push it really so yeah, I just embraced it with these drawings. The first is Misato who is a reference to the moon. The biggest reference to the moon is actually in her name Misato which was taken from Neon Genesis Evangelion and for those who do not know the end credit song for that is Fly Me to the Moon. And also, within the series there are several other references to the moon. And besides her being a reference to a printer she has the most references to the moon. I even wanted to draw her in a little astronaut suite. Oh yeah the background.... mmmm I may or may not recycled this from a different drawing..... It wasn't cause I was lazy. I just really wanted to use it here. Oh well next is the stars and the sun. Can you guess who those two will be?
