Ok so back in my Himizu [Noragami] I've been in a major Noragami and Akatsuku no Yona mood and that I might draw Yona. Well here ya go. Yona. Ahh so far I LOVE Yona and the manga there amazing. I've got all the manga now that are available in the USA and pre-ordered one as well. Anyway I’m not wanting to get into spoilers but in the manga Yona wears this lovely dancing dress. And I had to draw her in it. So I did. I worked super hard on it. The pose was a little hard cause I had no freakin no clue what to do. Her dance is more picturesque [mainly cause it’s from a manga with still images duh.] while actually sword dancing and fan dancing [which I am assuming her dance is based off that] is more fast passed and energized. At least the ones I looked up. I saw some videos of Chinese fan dancing and sword dancing and both were like that. So I just based it off of the one from the manga [but didn’t trace it. The pose is original] I had so much fun with it. And it was a lot of work. All those beads and stones. Waahahah. One thing that helped is I looked up professional anime illustrations and used them as my coloring reference. I think I did maybe 1/8 as good as they do. I got the fire effect off Google I was to lazy to do that part. Hehehe. Anyway I hope you like it. P.S the title is a translation of prayer and sorrow which is a reference to the manga when Yona preformed this dance.
