From my ignorance as fan of any kind of drawing here is my critique with all my good intentions .
I like it in general terms, but at first glance I don't know that this is a mermaid, although it can be seen in small details. But yeah , they are original. I like also the drawing of the character and is also something like ghostly . I do not know if that was the intention. May be because the direction of the light, indeed it seems that there are two spotlights.
In resume I like it, think is a good job!

Thanks you for your critique. I'm happy it have 'ghostly character' becasue in this particular drawing I imagined a mermaid like a creature of sea foam, something more spiritual that flesh, rather a half transparent being not interruptic natural ocean life.

Thank you. Not really, the painting was a short time because of using new technique and most of it was playing with color settings
