Description
Something original for a change!
This was an old piece that I reworked. I added a background and improved on the rendering on a number of areas.
Named her after a character from one of my favorite vampire films!

This is the perfect combination of color, design and mood in one piece.
The vampiristic characteristics are at least to my knowledge the most basic/modest but refreshingly natural and to the point depiction of creature of the night.
AmeliaΒ΄s wide grin revealing her animalistic fangs is as heart warming as it is horrific giving you the cold sweat when looking at her levitating above the ground while she holds in both of her hands a blade of cold steel and demonic flare ready to strike the observer with full deadly intentions.
Her battle dress is choosen with care. Her bare feet will not make a sounds on the surface, the strongest parts of her protectiv armor are on her torso, neck, legs making it clear that she knows what her hunters will strike for.
She is as deadly as a vampire should be.

I was considering cover up the heart area with armor, as my original design had it exposed. But I recall one person who commented on the first version of this that she's very confident and that the exposed area is meant to taunt the opposition. I thought that added a lot to her character, so I left it "vulnerable" and backed it up with a larger smile on her face.
