Somewhat better quality photos
I still couldn't sleep so I decided to take some progress shots of the longboard I'm designing.
Though it may look like the finished product, there are still a few crucial steps left. Jin and I will be livening up the colors using oils. The colored pencils alone look a bit too dull. Lastly, the board WILL have to be clear-coated XD
I wish I had a Loaded board *snff* Ahaha

I love the subtle coloring and how it blends in.
The use of earth tones is really good. The texture of the water is very artful. It also blends in well with the wood. The facial features are gorgeous and I <3 the horns lol. Reminds me of Aries because of the ram and stuff. ^ ^

Gorgeous work! May I ask about the treatment/products you used to make this? Aside from sanding off the previous design, did you do anything to treat the board beforehand? And is this done just with colored pencils (skills!!)? What sort of clear, protective stuff will you use to coat the board when you're done adding acrylics?
Sorry to ask so many questions. >.< I've been wanting to experiment with painting/coloring on wood for a while now.
