You mean different from the movie trolls, which isn't exactly "LOTR Trolls," it's just one persons artistic interpretation.

Well since those movies came out pretty much everyone imitates them. Which is both sad and irritating. Artists should be more original than that. Wait until you see my trolls. They won't look anything like the movie versions. Actually, none of my stuff looks like the movie versions.

I liked them but they where too dumb to be the ones in "the hobbit"

I kind of like the non fatty trolls, certainly gorrilla like long arms seem to be a general troll feature regardless of the specific rendition...I like how you've gone into detail of the skeletal structure of the skull....nicely done!

the skull is quite bearlike though, a fur less bear, but bear nonetheless.

the armour is also fantastic, I like the eye on it's.....beltbuckle? don't know what to call it, nonetheless the big eye at his belt level

I thought about using elephant feet and then I noticed they did that in the movies. (+ the elephants sort of do have very stunted toes)
We're going for more human-like skinny trolls with a little touch of a reptile. (in the head mostly)
