knslgkdI HATE MY PAPER ;___;
My sketchbook paper is shit for colouring with pencils. It can't handle how hard and how much I put onto it, as you can see with his eyes. So, the scales suck coz I couldn't outline them very well >_<
This is fanart of the green dragon on the cover of Inheritance, last book inn the Inheritance Cycle
( [link] )Eragon was one of the things that inspired me to draw more (along with Spyro...) and helped me get into writing.
*looks at actual pic of green dragon* I drew from memory, so, my verison of this guy is a tad different

I miss paper andd pencils. Been doing too much digital art... And I feel my traditional art has been neglected...
I tried a bit of crosshatching in this, what do you think?
Scanner killed bright spots and various little hints of colour in his scales .3. looks much better in RL.

I remember myself drawing Saphira (copying the front cover of Eragon) and being so proud of it, that's almost definitely what inspired me to do more traditional art.

Crosshatching makes all the difference.
I know how you feel, I feel as if my colour pencil set is a tad neglected atm too. I should colour a couple of pictures.
Can't wait for the last book either! But my dad gets to read it first since he started the series first D:
I was almost hoping the last egg would be white. Sorta like the first dragon that had a rider, but a green dragon on the front is a dead give away. It might not be though.

Well, its already been mentioned in the books that the last egg is infact green. XD I don't mind it, it goes with Saphira's blue, and Thorn's Red.
