Beautiful! I love the almost sepia feel with those burned red/gold hues, really suits the oldstyle outfits.

And hey!

The eyes look a lot like Kanto Musashi and Kojiro, as are the small lips and noses, but, you should remember they looked more their age back then.

They don't look sharp and old enough in this, you still draw them with the chubbier, more child-like proprtions they usually have nowadays.

But that's okay, I fail at capturing the new art style for them, so I can't complain!

I think it's wondeful, and their eyes looks more mature to me. I prefer the other eyes though, they fit more to your style and looks
a little more immature (like the anime). But
trying new styles is great, I want to do that too. ^^ I really like their outfits, it's cute and it fits them. <3

The eyes are the best thing about this. I think having the eyes in this style gives them a more mature look.

Nah, just kidding. I think if you like drawing Pokemon style then continue drawing like that, I know how appealing it is, he he he. There's no point in drawing if you aren't enjoying it, so you should do what you want and enjoy most. So that means sticking to your immature anime rockets!

I like the style (and all your art cuz you rock lol), but I have to say--I really like Musashi's eyes better the other way you draw them. Kojiro and everything else looks great.
