thank you so much! the title sounds very sad, the gesso, sort of dampening all the color and then the bits of dried flowers. so sad. i'm glad you think it's beautiful.

I think that the bits of flowers mostly added to the sense of sadness...and the color combo somehow was sad...I am not sure why...
