Description My entry for the July logo contest on PF! I'll try to keep up with the contests all summer, it also gives me an excuse to do pokemon fanarts because they're my babus and they're forever fun to draw <3
I can't decide if the guy who designed mewtwo's new form is a genius or a madman because. HIS TAIL IS COMING OUT OF HIS HEAD. It's really weird to draw. The underwater setting is a reference to the first movie because oh god the nostalgy

Eeeeep I know right? Mewtwo is coming back in movie 16 that's coming out this month and when I saw the trailer I seriously flailed like a little kid because waaah my childhood ;w; Thank you very much, I'm so glad you like it! Painting the bubbles was ridiculously fun I want to paint bubbles for a living haha :')

Been kinda annoyed with all the new Mewtwo form drawings coming out, but this is really appealing to the eye

Thanks! Why does it annoy you? I picked mewtwo since the contest entries must be related to the corresponding month and July is when movie 16 is coming out.

Mainly because a lot of the art has been overdone. Like...I'll give an example (apologies if you have done this art before), a lot of the new form art looks chibi and cute which kinda...takes away from Mewtwo if you ask me. I could just be bickering, but I just also kinda found it annoying, particularly after he was announced, how almost every pokemon fan here flooded the pokemon groups with art of him. Kinda made me like..."Dear God, easy with the excitement please!"
