Kathleen and Mabel walked over to the lake and sat on the grass to wait for Apollo. Then Apollo swam back to shore and approached them. He asks Mabel how she can see him and she shows him the ring. Apollo then tells Mabel that she should become a statue herself, Mabel was not so sure that she would want to wish since she would not know how long it will last, then Apollo tells her to set a time limit for the rings power. Mabel then removed her shoes and socks and said "I wish i could be a statue of living marble until dawn After that I want me and my friend Kathleen to return to normal" the wish came true and Mabel turned into a statue.
