Not very recent... I've hesitated in uploading it because (as usual) the proportions are off... and... this just generally disturbs me in a "stare into the abyss and the abyss stares into you" way.... but that's kinda what I like about it as well. Ughhh...It's basically an overwrought doodle that kept getting worked upon. I can't seem to do anymore but crits are welcome nevertheless!

Seriously this really blew me away. You talk about propertion, even though I noticed you are getting really good at it, blah yaar, the ultimate feeling, intensity and passion you put into this says it's just plane perfection. The eyes. They killed me just there. The whole contour. Like a heated up quiet vocalno with so much to explode but keeping it in for the greater good....
Sorry I'm blabbing but simply can't contain my excitment.

The yellow, I tried removing it because it didn't make sense, but when I did it looked even more weird. I'll try doing something about that when I'm more brave. thanks again for pointing that out ^__^

I am happily blind to all proportions today^^ I love it, and the abyss-staring-back-effect is maybe the absolutely best part of it

I already wanted to ask where your ava is from 
I think it looks great, love those highlights and small details. Maybe the forehead above that dark eye looks a bit strange, because the light source suggests that it could be iluminated, but that is on purpose I guess.

Yep one half of the face was darkened like that on purpose. but it has a sharp edge, the dark area... maybe I should soften it... hmmm...

I'd actually like to see a bit more of a gleam in the shadow-side eye. Eyes staring out from darkness always weirds me out.
