And im complete.

I know i said i would not do this sorta thing again, but i must just one last time. At the beginning of the year, the only thing i have in my life, my car, kicked the bucket. and i may not have thought it, but i was legitimately going crazy, started doing a lot of out of character things, just a whole lot of anger and antisocial energy, i was done with the world and had to fake a smile to get anything done. but now. nope. Em1ly returned in full force with a new engine and plenty smiles left to give, the feeling of getting her back, brought me back too. i could look around with fresh eyes, and in short HOLY SHIT WHAT HAPPENED???

But my soul is alive for the first time this year. first, yes, this pic is me reversing one thing here, turning vanta back into Karen, the best version of this character i ever made, tearing out the 5th revision at its foundation as that too was horrendous and restoring the alien designs. and yes, the muscles, while still an odd thing, are a defining trait of this character and helps her stand out a bit more.

I won't lie though, one thing really will not make a return.
The story.
The story has actually been offed this time, and ive chosen to step down from it as it is not my wheel house and not what im known for. I did say i didn't want to return to that and i wont if i can help it. its about the art, the designs i can come up with, and the advancements ill make, im to be a master, not a jack.

but yes, i can now say, Mervin Lyn Roberts has returned, ready to actually live a little.
