bloody hell, is that colored pencil? it just blows my mind that people can possess steady & precise enough hands to be able to draw pieces of this caliber on paper, not to mention make everything flow and align properly in the end. besides that, +1 for best fish

Yeah it's color pencil. It does take quite a bit of practice, but the trick is to use the white color pencil to blend in the colors and make them smooth.
