elements appear so organic, shaped, molded and manipulated yet somehow free....i am generally relatively indifferent to sculpture but i enjoy

I'm glad you enjoy this piece. I put in one organic element (some branches on the tree) but the rest has been purposely formed that way.

Thank you!! I wanted to put a reflection of her underneath but I had to paint it quickly 'cos it was being assessed. Sorry for not commenting on anything lately. I'm so tired and busy. I hope you're well.

That's very cool! I like the dejected posture of the angel, and the setting.. It reminds me of set design, like for A Midsummer Night's Dream. I also like he curves and tangles of those tree branches. Excellent work.

I've never read a midsummer night's dream. I've only seen the small extract that's been badly acted in that Levis' ad. I'm sure it's much better really... It has to be. It's Shakespeare. Anywho. Thank you. Yeah. The branches were weird. They were curly. The picture is really bad. I'll try get a better one with less background noise. Thanks Zach!

Excellent construction and this photograph captures it at what seems to be the most fitting angle!

Thank you so much. The quality is awful and there's a lot of background noise (towels and things) but I liked the angle too. It makes my little angel look even more drained. I felt like this after sitting in a small room for five hours making this thing. Well, It was more like cradling myself in the foetal position while going mad. Haha.

Um. it took about 5 hours to do with 45 minutes before-hand for the general planning. i had to draw out a huge plan on paper. i then had to cut and form the wire. it was such a long 5 hours but enjoyable. i was like a zombie afterwards. hehe
